SpaceWeatherLive is an initiative of Parsec vzw, a non-profit organization from Belgium which consists of several websites about Astronomy, Space, Space Weather, aurora and related subjects. Our organization promotes these scientific branches onto the world wide web with websites as this one. All live data on this site gets automaticly updated every five minutes unless otherwise mentioned.

Most of the generated data belongs to the National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), U.S. departement of Commerce, GFZ Potsdam and by IRF:

The generated raw data contains no copyright and may be used freely with mentioning the source as stated above. Copying all other material that is generated by SpaceWeatherLive (like the generated graphs, images, layout, symbols) is prohibited and may not be used on other websites. This includes also hotlinking of images. If you do want to use data, please go to the NOAA website to get the desired material.

Images/graphs of SpaceWeatherLive may not be used on other websites under any circumstances. SpaceWeatherLive is not a company and is maintained by volunteers who spend their free time to provide correct data. If you do want to use data, please mail us or get the data of the official instances like NOAA.

The images of the Sun belong to NASA, Solar Dynamic Observatory (SDO) and SOlar and Heliospheric Observatory (SOHO), Stereo, MLSO, ... these images are free to use for non commercial activities. The background images of the Aurora belong to multiple dedicated photographers who shared their work with us with the means to share their work accross our website and social media, usage of these images is prohibited and are copyrighted to the respective owners, Poollicht.be/SpaceWeatherLive has these images under license of the owners.

SpaceWeatherLive.com cannot be held responsible for receiving lots of e-mails on the alertlist when there is higher Space Weather activity, when you've subscribed you agreed to this. Unsubscribing is always possible on the SpaceWeatherLive website.
